I first met Wanda Wen just over 10 years ago. She's one of those people that just have a knack for creating beauty. Back in those days I would haul my samples around in a backpack and travel the country knocking on doors and seeing who I could find to carry my line of cards. When I first traveled to Los Angeles I discovered Soolip Paperie, Wanda's magnificent store on Melrose. She successfully carried R. Nichols for years - but over time we'd lost touch.
So here we are just over 10 years later. Upon moving to LA this past June, I reconnected with Wanda. She has a beautiful new book called "The Art of Gift Wrapping". As we were catching up she mentioned that she had this little extra space at Soolip - and asked me if I would like to set up a mini R. Nichols shop. A little tiny room/nook at the very back that was all mine - well - I was all over it. So I showed up with my paintbrush and fixtures and went to work creating my little world.
.
The R. Nichols Nook at Soolip
The end result is The R. Nichols Nook at Soolip. It's an adorable tiny little shop within a shop where you can find nearly the entire R. Nichols collection (including original art pieces as we get closer to the holidays). It is also quite possible that you will find me hanging around too. I am often there working on new designs (especially on Saturdays), meeting shoppers (and occasionally celebrities), chit-chatting - it's become my retail home away from home.
Wanda and her beautiful empire
Wanda's new book
So, If you are in LA, I hope you'll come visit Soolip (8646 Melrose - right across from the Pacific Design Center / open 7 days a week). It would be wonderful to meet you. If you are a "facebook person" please become a fan of R. Nichols and you'll always know what I'm up to and just where I might be (whether it's The R. Nichols Nook at Soolip or The R. Nichols Shop in Orlando.....)!
Hope to see you soon!
What would I have done without your help Mr James Mckay Wizard?.. I’m most grateful and am writing a review for you with a grateful heart. Thanks for helping me get my life back together and especially helping me to clear my credit debts that my wife had maxed out and even more thanks for helping me get the proof I need to go through with the court proceeds. My wife has always been a cheater and I never would have had helped without you, she would have took away my children and all my money. If you are looking to hire a good cyber hacker and recovering agent he is the man for you contact him here: jamesmckaywizard at gmail dot com or WhatsApp +31622647750.
Hackers broke into my wallet and stole over 70k worth of bitcoins. Everything occurred so quickly. I was at work one morning when I received an email from blockchain asking me to verify my account for safety reasons, which I did thinking it was the appropriate blockchain email address. I then clicked a file that was attached to the email, and that’s when everything went wrong. My personal computer collapsed for a brief period, and then I got an alert that my Bitcoin request had been submitted to a different wallet. I tried emailing the blockchain support since I was so enraged and perplexed to see if there was any chance I could get my bitcoin back, but they stated there was nothing they could do. I gave up on it for a little period of time. I was informed that I could actually get back my Bitcoin with the aid of a hacker. I requested assistance from jamesmckaywizard who was introduced to me through a colleague. They only required the information from my own wallet. The money was found in my wallet in less than 4 working days, and it turned out that the intruder had already spent some of it, leaving me with only about 53,820.00 bitcoins. I’m still pleased and happy, jamesmckaywizard deserves every bit of praise for the fantastic job they did. They are influential on WhatsApp and email. jamesmckaywizard at gmail dot com or WhatsApp +31622647750.
After losing over $600,000.00 to fraudulent stock brokers who operated under the name “fxtradebit,” I found myself drowning in debt. However, I was fortunate enough to come across so reviews about a hack specialist by name jamesmckaywizard at gmail dot com. They played a crucial role in my journey towards recovery and exposing the true nature of the scammers. Initially, I was on the verge of paying the requested transfer fees out of desperation to retrieve my money, but jamesmckaywizard intervened. They revealed that the scammers were impostors and that their company was merely a copycat of a legitimate one. This revelation devastated me, but Century Hackers used their expertise to trace the money back to the accounts and wallets where I had sent it. Their remarkable efforts turned the situation in my favor, for which I am immensely grateful. You can reach them through email jamesmckaywizard at gmail dot com or WhatsApp +31622647750.
