I first met Wanda Wen just over 10 years ago. She's one of those people that just have a knack for creating beauty. Back in those days I would haul my samples around in a backpack and travel the country knocking on doors and seeing who I could find to carry my line of cards. When I first traveled to Los Angeles I discovered Soolip Paperie, Wanda's magnificent store on Melrose. She successfully carried R. Nichols for years - but over time we'd lost touch.
So here we are just over 10 years later. Upon moving to LA this past June, I reconnected with Wanda. She has a beautiful new book called "The Art of Gift Wrapping". As we were catching up she mentioned that she had this little extra space at Soolip - and asked me if I would like to set up a mini R. Nichols shop. A little tiny room/nook at the very back that was all mine - well - I was all over it. So I showed up with my paintbrush and fixtures and went to work creating my little world.

The R. Nichols Nook at Soolip
The end result is The R. Nichols Nook at Soolip. It's an adorable tiny little shop within a shop where you can find nearly the entire R. Nichols collection (including original art pieces as we get closer to the holidays). It is also quite possible that you will find me hanging around too. I am often there working on new designs (especially on Saturdays), meeting shoppers (and occasionally celebrities), chit-chatting - it's become my retail home away from home.
Wanda and her beautiful empire
Wanda's new book
So, If you are in LA, I hope you'll come visit Soolip (8646 Melrose - right across from the Pacific Design Center / open 7 days a week). It would be wonderful to meet you. If you are a "facebook person" please become a fan of R. Nichols and you'll always know what I'm up to and just where I might be (whether it's The R. Nichols Nook at Soolip or The R. Nichols Shop in Orlando.....)!
Hope to see you soon!

THE MOST TRUSTWORTHY CRYPTOCURRENCY RECOVERY SPECIALIST AROUND/BYTEPHANTOM CYBER RECOVERY:
My name is Gwen, and I never imagined I’d be the victim of a crypto scam. I’ve always been cautious with my digital assets, but in early 2024, I fell into a sophisticated trap that cost me over $190,000 worth of cryptocurrency. It was one of the most devastating moments of my life. I felt helpless, ashamed, and frustrated until I found BytePhantom Cyber Recovery. It all started when I came across what appeared to be a legitimate investment opportunity on a well-known social media platform. The website looked professional, the team behind it had public LinkedIn profiles, and the returns promised were “modest but steady.” I did my research or so I thought and decided to transfer some of my crypto into their platform. Within weeks, the site vanished. No response to emails, no support, and my wallet was drained. I was in shock. I reported the incident, but law enforcement told me flat out that the chances of recovering crypto were extremely slim. That’s when I turned to the internet, desperately searching for a solution. After going through multiple forums and reviews, one name kept coming up: BytePhantom Cyber Recovery. At first, I was skeptical. I had already been burned once. But what stood out to me about BytePhantom was the number of detailed success stories from real people who had been in similar situations. I reached out to them, and from the very first conversation, I felt reassured. Their response was immediate, professional, and empathetic. The BytePhantom team assigned a recovery specialist to my case within 24 hours. They thoroughly analyzed my transaction history, wallet activity, and digital footprint. They explained every step of the process clearly, without making any false promises. What impressed me most was their transparency. I never felt like I was being strung along or given generic answers—they were honest, technical, and absolutely determined. Over the next few weeks, BytePhantom launched a deep investigation into the stolen funds. They utilized blockchain forensics, traced the movement of my crypto across wallets and mixing services, and even tracked down key details of the scammer’s operations. I was amazed at how much information they were able to uncover—things that had gone completely unnoticed by the police. Then, about five weeks into the process, I received the news I had been hoping and praying for: BytePhantom successfully intercepted and recovered a substantial portion of my stolen funds—over 85% of the total amount. When I saw the crypto hit my secure wallet, I honestly couldn’t believe it. It felt like I had been given a second chance. But BytePhantom didn’t stop there. They helped me enhance my wallet security, educated me on common fraud tactics, and provided tools to monitor suspicious activity going forward. Their team genuinely cared—not just about recovering my funds, but about ensuring I never fell into another trap again. Looking back, choosing BytePhantom was the turning point in what could have been a complete disaster. They combined cutting-edge cyber intelligence with unmatched dedication and professionalism. I owe my financial recovery—and peace of mind—to their incredible work. If you’ve lost crypto to a scam or cybercrime, don’t waste time with unverified recovery services. BytePhantom Cyber Recovery is the real deal. They brought my funds back when I thought they were gone forever. And for that, I will always be grateful.
